Review the measurements

One delivery at a time. Watch the clip, step to the frame where it lands, and the red ring shows where the tracker thinks it pitched. If that is off, click the frame where it really pitched — the green ring is your answer, and it turns a verdict into an error in metres, which is the only thing that can tell a calibration 10 cm out from one that is mirrored.

2 — How did the batter play it?

Saved with the verdict, and checked against both measurements — the line and length it was played to, and the direction it went. A shot that cannot have been played to the ball as measured, or that ended up somewhere it does not go, is flagged next time this delivery is opened. What each one is.

3 — Where did the ball go?

Optional, and independent of everything above: click the ground where the ball ended up. That is one spoke of this batter's wagon wheel, and on a delivery the tracker could not follow off the bat it is the only one there will be. Drawn from D Newton's point of view — they are right-handed, so their off side is the right of the picture either way, and the mirroring is handled on the way in.

Nothing was followed off the bat here: something left the batter, but no struck ball fitted its path.

Marked at °, m out —

How far out you click sets the distance as well as the direction. Neither has to be exact: the wheel is read by region, and a click in the right sector is worth far more than no click.
